Please add an option to bring our own sync target for multiple device sync

I love that this app is built around on-device privacy, that's the main reason I chose it over the alternatives. So when multi-device sync was requested, I was glad to see it land as an optional Pro feature rather than forced onto everyone.

That said, I'd like to request an alternative sync method: letting us plug in our own cloud storage (Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, or even WebDAV) as the sync target, instead of only syncing through your servers.

Why this matters to me:

I already pay for cloud storage I trust and use for other apps, I'd rather sync through that than create a new dependency on a third-party server, even one you run. It keeps the privacy story consistent: my data stays in my accounts, under my control, the same philosophy that made me choose this app in the first place. No new recurring server costs tied to my usage, sync just rides on storage I already have.

Precedent: Apps like Joplin already do this well, sync is free and works through Dropbox, OneDrive, WebDAV, or a few other providers, with zero server infrastructure on their end. It's proven this model works well for a privacy-focused app with a similar audience.

On the subscription cost: I get that running sync servers isn't free, and I'm not asking to eliminate the Pro plan, for people who want a zero-config "it just works" sync, that's a fair value-add worth paying for. I'm asking for a second option alongside it: a BYO-storage sync mode for people who'd rather not route data through a new server at all. It could even stay behind the lifetime purchase or a one-time unlock, since it wouldn't cost you ongoing server resources.

Would love to hear if this is something the team has considered, and what the tradeoffs would be from your side (implementation complexity, support burden, etc.), genuinely curious, not trying to dismiss the effort that already went into Pro cloud sync.
